Fashionables Re-opening In New Place | EastBayRI.com

The eatery was scheduled to reopen this week at the former location of Barrington House of Pizza on Maple Avenue. Karina Etheridge, along with her husband Mark, decided to go back into the restaurant business after taking time off to raise their young children.

They had owned Trendys Pizza and Pasta in the Maple Avenue Shopping Plaza (where Billys is presently located) but closed the restaurant to try their hand in owning an upscale eatery in Warren. When the Barrington House of Pizza location became available, they knew the time was right to open a family business. This is really Karinas business. In hindsight we should have kept the old Trendys.

We were doing great but decided to go in a new direction.

This gives us the opportunity to own our own business where we can bring our children and for Karina to do what she loves to do, Mr. Etheridge said. The new Trendys will be similar to the old Trendys, just scaled down a bit. They no longer have a liquor license and due to space constraints, they will not offer table service.

They have a handful of tables and chairs for those who wish to eat-in, but most of their business will be take-out, deliveries and catering. Everything is made fresh and from scratch. Cleanliness is so important to us. Our sandwiches are a foot-and-a-half long and loaded up.
